It's important to learn the moves that take you into the vortex, but it's best not to study vortex itself too closely. Even grandmasters who have built up a tolerance lose the ability to play for a few hours after studying it.

FYI: As it's getting somewhat tedious to post new xkcd comics here manually (and get comments into my inbox), I am, after saving here, going to ask the operators of rss.ponder.cat to set up a bot to post these comics to a dedicated community. If that is set up, I will stop posting manually here. I suggest people then subscribe there.

Can't the/a bot post here where everyone's already subbed? If you give me a bit of time, I could get one written.

That would be even better, but according to this, only moderators of the community can request that from rss.ponder.cat. I am not a moderator of this community, so this is why I wrote my request the way I did; if you want to chime in there, go ahead.

It looks like @[email protected] isn't around any more, so I guess it's unmoderated around here (aside from the LW admins).

The moderator @koraro seems to no longer be active. Is there a way to have an instance admin make you a moderator?

I made this a while back, does posts from a config file. Might be helpful? https://github.com/stevenvergenz/lemmy-scheduled-post-bot
