Pete Seeger also did a bilingual version with the original, more literal, translation from the french. Bragg's translation is much less direct but sings better as a consequence.
The Internationale has been translated into well over a hundred languages and it's always recognizable.

The Internationale is so good, definitely my favourite socialist song. It's not even like my favourite musically, but it just hits different somehow, it feels more unifying. Also the fact it's been translated into pretty much every language in existence and had different local spins put on it is great
