At this point I wonder if they're just trying to lose on purpose to get better draft picks because they know they can't get rid of Watson for 3 years anyway. No sense spending any money on free agents or really worrying about winning in the short term. Who knows though.

While I get the sentiment about Watson, I think this is a result of bad ownership and management by the Browns organization. It's similar to the Jets situation, the Raiders situation, and the Lions situation prior to 2021.
