So apparently instead of just doing the shift of reddit API policy change on 1st July like they said they will, it will take a few weeks for the change to happened. I guess they themselves also can't cope with such short notice.

Klang Valley, anywhere near lrt/mrt and has building elevator! also budget is around RM1.2k (which i know is pretty low but :D )

What's the impact of me using monyet.cc as my home instance to browse other federated instances? I understand that hosting an instance requires quite a bit of resources, just not sure where that resource is being consumed from (home or destination instance).
from the FAQ here:
- Do we have the CPU / bandwidth for X?: Yes! Lemmy is super lightweight. Please act as if we have infinite bandwidth and CPU.
so, I'd say don't worry about it
