Maybe China should arm Indigenous independence groups in Hawai'i.
And start doing some freedom of navigation between Cuba and Florida.
I'd say that it'd be hilarious if China did that but I don't want to die in a nuclear armageddon. US is the definition of can dish it but can't take it.
Indeed, US is not exactly a rational actor at this point.
Dying empires rarely are.
Yeah, it's kind of the nature of the beast. Once things start falling apart then it creates an environment of discontent that opportunists exploit, and you start getting feedback loops that accelerate the collapse.
And build a base or 20 in Mexico... joking, USA would flip their shit over that.
If anything, current US govt is more unhinged and aggressive than the one which put missiles in Turkey.
Particularly ironic because the Cuban missiles were also in response to the US doing the exact same goddamn thing in Eastern Europe.
