There was a guy on one of my old mail routes - in the second richest town i've delivered, very much a ritzy enclave of a bigger neighboring town - who was subscribed to a newsletter called The Militant, which to my understanding is Trotskyist-aligned? Never actually got the chance to talk him up, anyhow.

Granted, I don't actually have much experience with socialist groups. People just kind of terrify me in general so i prefer to not deal with them if it's not over a computer or a phone or something.

If you're talking about The Socialist (formerly Militant printed in big red letters), that was me and I was living with my in-laws. Also not a Trot, but all UK left media is Trot aligned.

Oh, this was in the American Midwest. As for the newsletter, it was these guys.
