Then why was he shooting at the squad car?
I'm pretty sure he thought the handcuffed guy in the back of his car had somehow silently fired a gun at him.
I saw a video a while back where the police car had a compartment to store long guns in the back of the cruiser, conveniently marked "GUN". It was unlocked and a woman in the back managed to slip her cuffs, open it, and fire it at the cops.
The top comment on the video said, "You have a right to a firearm, if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you."
remember that video of the guy who shot two cops that were harassing him during a traffic stop? only one died though
