there’s an alternate universe version of this where musk’s attendant sycophants and bodyguard have to fish his electrocuted/suffocated/crushed body out from the crawlspace he wedged himself into with a pocket knife

Sometimes I’m not sure if it’s a Mandela effect when I remember huge binders full of service pack cd-roms for the NT servers we used to host the websites we built for our clients - in the server room of our office - with consumer-grade aircons running 24/7

    every machine is the same shade of beige

    every desk has a mouse holder. nothing is arranged for any particular comfort while using the computer, but your job is in fact to use the computer

    we don’t speak of uptime here
