I moderate the /c/stopdrinking community. The person who created it didn't want to mod, and so I volunteered. Now the creator has gone inactive and hasn't been around for for 4 days.

I'd like to update the sidebar, etc, but only the creator seems to be able to do that.

What happens if he never comes back? If he can eventually be removed, what would be a reasonable amount of time to wait?

In the meantime, can an Admin change the sidebar text for me?

I just want someone to add a proper description. I'm sorry if that's me trying to become a king of some little domain.

People really ascribe the worst to things sometimes.
