Thanks to waves generated in the upper atmosphere, El Niño can disrupt the polar vortex. That, in turn, can cause the jet stream to become more wavy, pushing Arctic air further south.

mrw oscillations between corporatism and socialism should be occuring due to vortex shedding but it only seems to be going one way.
