It's totally replacing car trips permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] MigratingtoLemmy@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago How much did it cost you? What about repairs? I know absolutely nothing about cycles but I want to reduce my dependence on cars as much as possible especially for short trips. All of the terms around cycles confuse me, since I haven't really dug deep into it. I don't even want gears in my cycle: I want the absolute simplest thing possible. permalink fedilink source parent [–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 years ago* (1 child) Cargo bikes are expensive, consider a kid trailer. They're pretty cheap and easy to attach to a bike you already have. They're not as nice as a cargo bike, but they get the job done. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] MigratingtoLemmy@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago Thanks, I'll take a look permalink fedilink source parent
