Will Aussie.zone be defederating from meta’s threads? (aussie.zone)

With all the talk about lemmy.ml defederating from threads I’ve been wondering what Aussie.zone’s stance is on the matter.

He’s defederating. But keeping Amazon when they arrive. I’m getting rid of both on mine. But I do like me some Microsoft 😋

    All jokes aside, you bring up a good point. This will be only the first of many decisions to be made.

    Lodion's been doing a great job, and I'm cool with going with his wait and see approach.

    I can see a lot of old discussions from earlier in internet (and before) history being rehashed, but it's a good thing. A lot of people have known nothing except the big social media sites. So this is a refreshing opportunity for a different approach.

    Good point, and optimistic which is lovely.. if i equate history to this it might be more like a betrayal of greed and fleeting profit that sparks the implosion that results in you and I taking pitch forks to eachother..

    But time will tell all 😀
