I saw this post and wanted to ask the opposite. What are some items that really aren't worth paying the expensive version for? Preferably more extreme or unexpected examples.

grape wine sucks

there's more complexity in Shaoxing cooking wine than grape wine

also the best beer I've ever had was some artisanal non-alcoholic one, I've been trying to find it for 10 years but never succeeded
