I saw this post and wanted to ask the opposite. What are some items that really aren't worth paying the expensive version for? Preferably more extreme or unexpected examples.

Might depend on country of course. But yeah in my country medicine is so tightly regulated that the brand stuff is chemically identical to the generics anyways, they kinda all have to be.
