Yep.

is there a setting I can use to just ignore moderator removals and read the comments anyhow?

Do you mean in the comment thread? I don't think so.

I wanna basically be able to subscribe to a moderator/admin or ignore what effect they're having so there isn't someone else deciding for me which content is visible.
