Trying Square mile’s Thirika Kenyan coffee this week in the Aeropress. First time and it’s a really unique flavour! Would love to hear thoughts on these beans or Kenyan coffee in general!

Probably for measuring out the water. 1ml of water weighs approximately 1 gram, so you can use a scale to figure out the volume.

Exactly this! Maybe not completely necessary in an aeropress vs something like a V60. Also used to weigh the beans before and after the grind to make sure it’s consistent :)

Also in the pic the scales are set to timer so I know to press when it hits the 2min mark.
