Thread vs No Thread Version (alien.top)

I'm looking to buy a 3rd gen 4K tv, but am not sure if I should buy the Thread/Ethernet version or not...I don't need the storage or Ethernet port, and have a bunch of HomePod Minis in the house which I believe would handle the Thread radio stuff. And yet...it's only a $20 difference, so I find myself leaning toward getting the 128GB model "just in case."

Any good arguments for or against getting the Thread version?

if the 20 bucks isn't a big deal to you get the thread one you don't know what the future holds.
