I’ve found my Reddit activity to have plunged since discovering Lemmy. I mostly check Reddit now for niche subs that don’t have an equivalent yet.
Same.. Lemmy is pretty great. But I wish the UX would be better here..
Which niche communities are missing?
Ones for various hobbies and electronic gadgets.
Can you name some? Perhaps you’ll inspire someone to get one started! Don’t wait, act now 😀
Prusa3D (there’s a community, but it has no posts yet), Mopar, Roborock, Green Mountain Grills are a few examples. Most the communities I follow on Reddit are here but just not as active yet.
I haven't seen anything like UFYH or decluttering, both of which I found really useful.
there's some people mentioning decluttering already, create the community, reach out and invite some folks in!
The Esperanto and Conlang subs are very small here
