They have not even began construction due to burocratic problems and farmers oposition.

So is Girona's Cinderella year not just a product of them being a City Group owned team? Genuine question to those who know better, not an attempted slight against their success.

    They've been owned by City for a long time and even got relegated.

    They are really here on their own merit and Michel being a genius coach.

    They've hardly spent - they can't really in La Liga
