I'm sure it's not going to last forever as this site grows in popularity but I feel like I can talk about whatever with minimal judgement here (and just overall no anxiety in comparison to everywhere else), just nice vibes all around ^^

I suspect it's also due to the required effort to get into the fediverse. I think in the last 3 years reddit made itself more and more similar to how other social platforms are, so that anyone can jump right in. Reddit used to be slightly more intimidating to get into and understand as well.
