YouTube tests AI-generated comment summaries and a chatbot for videos (au.finance.yahoo.com)

YouTube announced two new experimental generative AI features today. Premium subscribers can soon try AI-generated comment summaries organized by topic, and a chatbot that answers questions about videos.

At this point why would you watch the video when you can have a shitty AI summary of the whole thing. Great idea.

How do you usually know if you enjoy a movie? Is it not by watching it?

Before the 10 minute mark you probably have some idea if you want to watch more. But i agree finding good creators is incredibly difficult in the oversaturated market

So is it better to min-max everything? Including the videos that you might watch?
