You seem to think an EMP wouldn't have tremendous collateral damage. It's a nuke for electronics, indiscriminate in targets.

Dude we're going to be hard pressed to even get the range needed to take out part of the drone swarm, and you're worried about collateral damage?

I guess you could launch a rocket with an EMP on it, to get it closer. And hopefully not take down a plane by accident? Yeah this idea is dumb.
