Dickinson, however, said internal studies showed some 88% of his civilian workforce would not leave Colorado Springs for Alabama.

    No shit. The amount of great housing in the Springs with relatively easy access to Peterson AFB is incredible. Plus, the milder climate and insulated economy make it a place people want to stay. Winters aren’t nearly as bad as people imagine since it’s on the plains side of the Rockies.
