Nobody is getting to keep their hands clean in a war. This war was imposed on them. Those who don't have anywhere to go will stand and fight to the bitter end.

Putin knows he'll lose his head if he shows weakness. China, Iran, North Korea are using it to weaken western lead order. Innocent people are paying the ultimate price.

I know I'd fight dirty af if we were invaded and I didn't have anywhere to run

    I would say all the Ukrainians fighting in the Ukraine War who have done what they had to as humanely as they were able to in the moment can feel that their hands are clean even if the experience of having to witness and do violence has conveyed an immense psychological burden onto them.
