Oklahoma kids are allowed to be home alone at the age of 10. Long as they can use a microwave and can cook mac and cheese. (Told to me by CPS when my kids mother had issues due to her depression and kids couldn't stay with her for some time.)
But speaking of Florida didn't I read a fucking story of mom getting arrested when kids were playing alone in their own yard? So don't think that state has room to talk.
