I am what, 5 months into taking this instrument seriously? Practicing daily. Today's practice session went pretty well. Hit the notes that are high for me relatively smoothly. (High notes are not the be-all end-all, but I would like to at least have the ones I'm asked to hit frequently in the pieces I'm playing down confidently. I do need some amount of range!) I'm proud of myself for that!
