But the boot is blue now instead of red, which makes it better

    If the takeaway is red or blue boot doesn’t matter, go out and only ever vote for those who take zero corporate dollars. Oh, and also, vote every single time you can.

    Standing on the sidelines and stating that the game is rigged is not a flex. Working to stop the rigging is.

    Can you stop a casino from rigging its games by playing in the casino?

    Casinos are not structured in any way to allow their customers to affect their business strategy. Our government, at its core, is.

    This is demonstrably wrong in reality and even in the abstract, a casino actually has more incentive to pay out than a capitalist government because a casino doesn't have the power to stop people from leaving or kill them for organizing.

    I will vote for whoever took zero corporate dollars over whoever’s blue

    but i will vote blue before red

    0 corporate fuckery -> blue -> red

    and where i’m from my vote doesn’t matter, but i’m still fucking voting

    Agreed. I've voted in every election since I was old enough, and I always vote honestly. I've also seen how feckless it is; it's the least effective, but easiest means of change.
