Without any flashy marketing campaigns or social media fanfare, Valve rolled out a routine Steam Client update containing a very simple line in the patch notes: “Improved Steam Client startup performance.”

Wait "which took 9 years to resolve." isn't the linked ticket resolved as "won't fix"‽

Did they change enough that it no longer happens thereby fixing it indirectly? Or do they no longer care that it might confuse users?
