Can you just ask your regular doctor to give you a prescription and order blood tests at least until you can get into the endo? I never saw an endocrinologist, I've always had my regular doctor do it. I started with a doctor with lots of experience with it. But when I had to change I provided the details on what blood levels should be from a few reputable places who have updated their documentation for cis-women in perimenopause to reflect the correct blood test values, not the ones for the old estrone supplements or the old research that was only done on women over 60 which showed higher risk of breast cancer. That doesn't really apply quite as much on estradiol and younger people for the most part. Mt. Sinai was a pretty convincing one for her for example that showed 200-400pg/ml is a good target peak cycle value rather than 50-100 or 100-200 previously used.
DIY and paying for testing is another option, but it can get expensive without insurance to help and more difficult to regulate when using some of those methods since purity of medications can vary and some provide more estrone or estriol than estradiol which is the type we likely need the most of.
Hope you're able to get it figured out sooner than later.
