Well "new" for me. I bought a used 2016 Chevy that used to be a fleet vehicle. Got it for like $8000 and it gets 33mpg which I love.

I did seriously consider getting an electric, but since I need a car for long term road trips? I don't think an electric would be good right now.

Lke if I need to drive from Idaho to Wisconsin, how would I do that with an electric?

What EV? How far do you typically travel? I've found the payments offset the fuel costs in a fantastic way for the new one I bought a couple of months ago

Kia. I'd travel all over frequently, its onlyever a hassle because chargwrs need accounts instead of all being interoperable and I am locked in to a poor quality provider. Energy is energy but their rfid is shit.

Yeah I hear you. When I got mine I set up accounts for a bunch of them. The amount of tracking with EVs is scary though. Always on GPS and logs sent to the manufacturer, and it's shared with 3rd parties. And they know when and where you charge and how much battery you charged or consumed, etc. And all the accounts is frustrating as hell.
