More than seven months have passed from the war, the indiscriminate killing and bombing of the infrastructure. On top of this US has tightend the noose with economic embargo and blockade.

During the war US bombed 44 pharmaceutical companies and this coupled with the blockade has left a shortage of medicine in the country specially more niche and rare ones. And now a black market Is thriving by smugling drugs and selling them with astronomical prices. Fucking vultures profiting off of the sick and suffering. I swear capitalism brings the worst out of people.

Now here comes the venting; Before the war It was a little hard for me to find my medication but atleast I could find it. It wasn't cheap either but atleast I could afford it. But now I can't find any medication, I have scoured the city, every pharmacy, i think I've checked like more than a hundred by now and non of them had it and when I asked why they said it doesn't exist in the country anymore or that it doesn't get manufactured. It's either they were bombed, or can't import the necessary ingredients, or they have shifted their manufacturing capacity to produce more regularly used drugs to fill the gap in the market.

I was really stressed because I was so close to running out of drugs thankfully I found someone in the capital to search there and even he had a hard time. He eventually found some but the price had tripled. But what can I do at this point, It's either triple the price or no drugs at all. So now I have three months worth of my medication so the stress can be postponed until then.
