In the game Death Stranding, the remaining population of what was called the United States had to move underground following an apocalypse which devastated the entire world. Many, many people became depressed. A single suicide could destroy an entire city in an antimatter, nuclear-bomb-sized explosion, so oxytocin is delivered regularly to help people from killing themselves or others.
