The Greens toxified themselves with the Zionism motion, quite possibly irredeemably. There is now a cordon sanitaire around them, with no mainstream party willing to touch them with a 10-foot pole, in the UK or in Europe, and they’re in the same political cesspool as Corbyn and Galloway, while still insisting that they’re something different.

I don't know about that. If they still continue receiving support - and the outcome here shows they are in fact still popular, almost enough to challenge Labour, - then I don't think it'll be as big of a deal-breaker as some politicians and the media are making it out to be.

Parties work with all sorts of right-wingers and known creeps all over, an anti-Israel/genocide stance will be tolerable. The media will blast it for a while, the main question is only if it'll put them out of contention with the electorate.

“anti-Zionism” is a slippery term that doesn’t nearly stop at anti-genocide or even anti-ethnic-supremacy but can go all the way to “Jews out of the Middle East”. Even if one doesn’t take that maximalist stance, one is stuck on a tough hill to defend.
