This post is...gonna be something, so bear with me please.

This started after my injection dosage got increased from once a week (doesn't work for me with valerate, apparently) to twice a week. I finally got proper E levels and, well...something changed.
What I mean by that is...I started smelling a fish-like odor when sitting down or just being naked in general. Weird, I thought. It was, of course, coming from my nether regions...

It got stronger. It got worse. It gets way worse the sweatier I am, so during summer, it was quite unbearable. This is NOT a hygiene issue. Even though I fucking hate doing it, I wash quite often. I wash and then, the next day, it's back...so I wash again and all it takes is a single day for it to come back. Jeez...

It's unpleasant. I don't like the smell. I really wish I could describe it as anything else...but no, it's literally just straight up fish, it's not urine. This has NEVER happened to me pre-HRT. Back then, I'll admit I didn't take hygiene that seriously, and so I think I had a normal cis-man smell (ew). But now...this is nothing like that! It's literally just fish! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I should probably get this checked out. It's not an UTI, I think, but I don't think this is normal...I guess I'm just asking if anyone has had a similar experience. It's just really strange, overall...

I noticed a similar increase in smell that started after I began hrt, and went from a normal shower every other day to "every day even if I'm exhausted and have nothing left I at least need to wash down there"

At first I thought it was because the boymode clothes I was wearing was more breathable, but my feminine clothing wasn't making me smell bad before.

My partner says I don't smell any different, but I think it's just changing a bit gradually over the last few months and I'm not nose-blind to it yet.

I did get a little paranoid that it was some kind of skin infection for a few days and washed multiple times with some antibacterial soap I had leftover from a medical procedure, but nothing changed.

I guess I don't have much input here other than "huh yeah, kind of sounds familiar, weird lol" but at least I know I'm not alone!
