I’m designing a meme tarot deck: majors are memes, courts are wojaks, and pentacles are (probably) bitcoin. What other internet culture objects / symbols could stand in for the other suits?

  • Wands: (staves / clubs) Fire; energy, ambition, creation
  • Cups: (chalices / hearts) Water; emotion, connection, intuition
  • Swords: (knives / spades) Air; thought, conflict, communication

Well obvs RWS. Thoth would not translate nearly as well into rage comics. The history of the rider Waite deck also meshes so uniquely into novelty images mass produced by the major communication media of their era. I feel like I gotta go bold on the imagery though she didn't make those coins and cups comically large for the depth and subtlety of the message.
