Pornography restrictions being codified into law, adult art being restricted from most Lemmy instances, Tarot readers blotting out the nudity on their cards on Reddit.

I'm watching the Magicians, on Amazon, and I use subtitles. All the curse words are purposefully filled in with random letters, so as not to offend the reader.

What's up with all the prudishness? Can people knock it off, please?

People have vaginas. And titties. And dicks. And asses. They swear. They drink. They fuck. Why is this generation afraid of that? Acknowledging these things isn't going to increase your chances of being sexually violated. So, what's the deal?

I mean you could just go watch porn? I'm by no means prude. If I'd like to watch an action movie, why does there need to be a sex/romance scene in it? Granted at this point I only watch foreign movies; especially when it comes to horror movies. I would say the classic tropes of horror movies got boring after watching hundreds of them; then I watched a Turkish horror movie called Baskin, and I'll be honest, I covered my eyes a few times, had to rewatch it actually completely watch the movie. That went from zero to I feel like I'm watching a horror movie for the first time and it's time for bed.
