Nintendo gave up completely in innovating after the 90s.

Very weird take, especially after mentioning:

I mean the Wii was just an overclocked GameCube with motion controls.

PlayStation 3 was just a more powerful PlayStation 2. Xbox 360 was just a more powerful Xbox. Then there is Nintendo who, instead of making a more powerful Gamecube, they went with largely the same hardware but with a radically different control scheme.

Isn't that the definition of trying to innovate?

Also, the Switch format has everything now. I don't see how anything can innovate further than to radically change what a videogame even is.
