There are useful Republicans that we should try to take advantage of when we can though. This type of messaging is normally used to imply anything to do with them is evil, so don't vote for anyone who cooperates with them ever. That's dumb though. When they can be used to further our efforts, they should be used. We can still hold them accountable, but take advantage when they give an opening to be exploited. They certainly will.
