I wasn't going to share the story because I felt it too dark. But a coworker years ago told me the first people he would kill in the "shit hits the fan" scenario is his neighbors because they would be the first to ask for help/target him.

The fact that a single nut job is out there thinking this was enough to adjust my stance on owning fire arms.
