The idea that Asians only steal and can't invent anything is a pretty old Orientalist trope.

    I don't believe what you're claiming I do. China, Japan, South Korea......all of these countries have made incredible inventions and technological achievements.

    It's also very common for the Chinese government to support and foster espionage against Capitalist countries to jump start their technological development of some things.

    It's also very common for corporations to steal from each other, too.

    Multiple things can be true. Pointing out scummy behavior of one entity does not mean I'm a racist.

    Okay, so you're merely saying that they steal, but pretending that no one else does. That's still Orientalism. There isn't a powerful country in the world that isn't engaged in industrial espionage. That's just how industry works. It doesn't make them scum.

    1. I literally said others do it too. You're arguing something I didn't say. My point is that theft without credit of someone else's work is wrong, no matter who does it, and it's never justified taking someone else's work and claiming it to be your own.
    2. I never called anyone scum. You're projecting onto me something I've never said and making assumptions about me that are false.
