I love the assumption that because I like a podcast in the shower I never turn off my brain. My brain does not turn off. I do seek silence to allow thoughts to flow and feel boredom, but some days my mind is too busy or in bad places and I want a distraction the whole day. There's nothing wrong with that.

Hot water is pretty expensive. Even if you are not worried about the phone, you may want to consider the impact on the environment (and your finances).

As other have said, not a monster problem.

But I would question my relation to my work if I can't stop it even while taking a shower. We're not built to be working every seconds we're awake.

Now, you're a grown ass adult so you do you boo. But maybe try to take a step back, just to check if you can. Work can be an addiction too.

lol not a monster, but maybe clean yourself up for 5–10 minutes, then sit down in your couch or in a chair and do the things you mentioned, instead of standing in the shower.

Treat your brain to a relaxing time of cleaning yourself. We need that time off of everything that the human brain didn't evolve for, but we've been cleaning ourselves forever.

If you have time to do all that in the shower, you have time to do it out of the shower. You could hardly be saving time by doing it in the shower lol.
