How did researchers build the Internet when there was no Internet to search for answers?

No Google. No YouTube. No AI assistants.
They relied on scientific research, experiments, computers and collaboration.
ARPANET came first, TCP/IP later helped different networks communicate, and the World Wide Web came afterward.

Libraries were this wild place where you could go and do research. I know it’s hard to believe.
