I agree, the State Anthem of the USSR is truly one of the greatest and most inspiring national anthems that's ever existed.

Personally, I don't like it at all that the Russian Federation reused the tune with nationalist lyrics. I understand why Putin did it, because the "Patriotic Song" under Yeltsin was trash that literally everyone hated, so he wanted to bring back the pride people felt when the USSR anthem was played.

But reusing the anthem's tune for a capitalist country and replacing the lyrics with things like references to God, could be considered sacrilege.
