Unlocking communication early really helps. If baby can communicate their needs, they will be less frustrated.

My son only used 3 signs actively, but it let him say that he wants water, or stop an activity, or that he wants more.

👉👈 was his favourite, he used it to say "again" or "more" or as a general call to action. He was very happy that it worked. It was hilarious when i checked in my suitcase at the airport, saw it ride away on the belt, looked and me and showed 👉👈 to do it again.

He also combined gestures with words later like "🤷‍♂️ is" meaning there isn't, or it's gone.
