Call me sceptical but I doubt a fiction book published ~120 years ago predicted the recall of 167000 pounds of meat in 2026 and then went further to outline how it was directly related to the recent deregulation by the Trump administration.

Perhaps you’d like to be a little more verbose and expand on this comment?

it was in reference to the point that this is not new. yes, you are correct in that it is not a direct source, but instead i took it as a chance to recommend one of my favorite books.

    Or a source at all.

but instead i took it as a chance to recommend one of my favorite books

    Oh…

“Calvin and Hobbes” - Bill Watterson

That's the most brain-dead take I've seen today, and I've been arguing with a guy

Maybe direct your overly aggressive anger at him then?

Fuck off. Comparing the impeccably-researchedwork of one of the most famous reporters in history, based on his own firsthand experiences in the meatpacking plants and interviewing the workers thereof... To fucking Calvin and Hobbes?

I made no comparison. I took the opportunity to recommend one of my favorite books in return.

Now I am sorry you misunderstood, but I personally find your language and communication style to be abusive, so I am going to block you.

    I hope you have a pleasant morning/day/evening.
