    Was the inquisition for money? Was the Holocaust for money? How about genocides(pick one, there are so many) are they done for money?

    Was slavery for religion? Was the genocide of native people's for religion? Was the slaughter of people of the Amazon for religion? Are people, today, working themselves to death for religion? Is pollution and global warming for religion?

    So yeah. People kill each other for dumb things. Religion. Money. Love. Lust. Name a thing and people have probably killed for it.

    1 Paganism was the followed religion during slavery, those in power practiced it.

    2 Catholicism is what drove the expansion into the new world.

    3 Catholicism and lust for gold drove the conquistadors into the Amazon.

    4 You have a point but we are not religious anymore and one might argue that capitalism is a form of religion.

    5 Environmental deaths, really? Reaching much?

    Catholicism did not have anything to do with expanding into the new world, it was for better trade routes.

    You literally said the lust for gold was a reason for the conquistadors. I think Catholicism was an excuse to do what they did for money.

    Arguing capitalism is a stretch.

    And no, I don't think deaths via pollution are a stretch at all. People are dying in droves because of pollution, from lung disease to water and food shortages to disasters caused by climate change, a thing gasoline companies knew would happen but wanted money. How many times has a company let people die because they want money?

    It's a secular murder.

    Just because you're mad at one type of religion doesn't mean all religions are bad, anyone with a religion is bad, and literally every evil of the world must somehow be tied to religion.
