I like them, it's nice to know that someone might get angry on my behalf, if I'm ever killed by a driver.

I had a close call two days ago, when riding down a bike lane, minding my own business. A car overtook, and started turning onto a side road, right into me. I didn't have time to stop, and could only veer as far away from the car as possible, and thankfully the driver eventually noticed me and stopped the car. I was maybe 20 cm from being hit, and was only honked at.

The visibility was very good, I had been going straight for a while and didn't just "appear out of nowhere", I wasn't going too fast or otherwise breaking laws or acting irresponsible, and I wasn't wearing a cloak of invisibility. I had the right of way, and even if I had hit all my brakes the second the car started turning, I wouldn't have had time to stop.
