Are you seriously comparing a full-blown linux distro with a gaming app preinstalled; to cartridge-era no OS consoles and CD-era BIOS-only consoles AND calling them exactly the same thing because they both have

Oh, and the latter (doesn't load heavy stuff like a browser or desktop) is simply not true, because desktop is not heavy at all and steam ships with built-in web browser
