This is the kind of thing the US transit system should embrace. Public transportation would be a far more pleasant experience by not having to put up with obnoxious riders acting like they own the vehicle.

as long as they have designed time when people can actually use the bus as it was meant to be used (hauling furniture) sure, but that will never happen.

Rent a uhual, there like $30 bucks. If you destination is close enough by bus then you'll get the maximum benefit of the truck.
