This followed the introduction of new signage from December 2024 encouraging commuters to be more considerate, including by keeping noise levels down, occupying only one seat and refraining from sitting on the floor.

What's wrong with sitting on the floor, if no seats are free?

Assuming the bus has already reached standing space only, somebody sitting on the floor is a nuisance to everybody else and taking up extra space.
